Grass Is Greener (Sludge Metal Version)
This video clip was recorded at a BS practice session. Only two full songs were captured during this practice: Thinking About Hating You and Groove Is In The Heart. (Versions of those songs were released on the Now That's On Video Tape compilation.) The rest of the tape only captures snippets of the band working on Grass Is Greener and Idiot's Delight. While working on Grass Is Greener we decided to work on a slower and more grungy take of the song. It wasn't a serious attempt, but listening to it now it may've been an interesting path to follow. Check out my rap rock stylings on the chorus.

I've included all that remains of this workout. A large section was erased when I accidentally used the tape to record a part of the Fard video.

Happy Holidays Slideshow Video
I just digitized the Happy Holidays video. I was going to post the video, but then I figured I'll make people wait for the DVD. So instead I am posting a slideshow of stills taken from the video.

The video was influenced by John Woo movies and the Beastie Boys Sabotage video. The narrative is about two paid killers going through their daily routine before they meet up to kill each other. In the end all they succeed in doing is killing everyone but themselves leading to a standoff between them. The killers were played by myself and Bram. Sadly Justice was not around during the filming of the 1992 to 1994 videos. If he was we could've had more of a The Good, The Bad And The Ugly thing happening. Oh well. Enjoy the slideshow in all of its cheesy glory.

BoneSauce Live Clip
You not believe this but there was a time when Bone Sauce played live shows. This was probably from 1991 to 1995. Sadly there's very little footage to document this and what does exist is of poor quality because the places we played were often dank dark basements. The following is a clip of an infamous show we did. There were many reasons as to why it achieved infamous status, but reason was that we started putting on more of a visual show as well. For example I went sans pants and wore a Boy Scout uniform top and Bram went shirtless and wore a dress. This clip captures the group on stage performing Had A Dad by Jane's Addiction. You can see me and Bram better than Justice and Pat, as they had no light on them. But there are glimpses, but you can't see the rubber pants Justice was wearing. In any case I hope to present this show in it's entirety on the DVD (and clean up the video too, as it is not even the original tape but a dub.) Enjoy!

OMG BS DVD!!!!!!
It's been two years in the making, but it's finally going to happen. Bonesauce is going to release the 15th Anniversary Edition of Cause Dowels. Cause Dowels was the original documentary of the band during it's heyday (1994) doing things guys in garage bands do. During that period I recorded a bunch of video on Justice's VHS camera. And I would've kept going if the camera hadn't broke.

So what will the DVD include?

The original Cause Dowels documentary
The complete Does Cows / Bone Sauce live appearances
The 1999 sequel to Cause Dowels, titled Sukwinder Singh
Outtakes from the videos and documentaries
Band commentary to Cause Dowels
The 2009 documentary The Recording of Ice Mountain

I'm sure there's more, but why spoil it for ya. So for now here's a taste. The following clip is an outtake from the Grass Is Greener video sessions. Part of that video featured Bram and myself on the side of a mountain rocking out. In this clip we need to start over because I forgot the words to the song, which I guess was not uncommon. Enjoy and check back for more clips and outtakes.
